zonnig weekend

I've decided to also write in english, next to dutch on my blog. This for all the people from other country's that don't understand a thing of the dutch language. So welcome!

weekend weekend weekend!

weekend weekend weekend!
This weekend is going to be undoubtedly a lovely weekend with lots of sun and warm weather, finally spring is here! To start the weekend, some nice movies. The first movie is about a man that transformes a moleskin sketchbook in a 3d artwork, If your not patient enough watch it from 1:20

During a yearly festival in china on the countryside, there is a old tradition (500 years old!) that the farmers keep alive every year. It's really bizarly beautiful It's I think the most acient form of fireworks I know. They melt old and broken iron to liquid iron and then comes the magic because they throw skoops full of molten iron against a wall, what makes an spectacular site. The most amazing thing is that the farmers that throw the iron are just protected with a small hat and a sheepshide, they keep throwing for almost an hour! You have to see it to believe it.

and also a trailer of lovely film still to come in the theaters called "where the wild things are"

and last but not least my own favorite graphic designer Jenna Chew. I like her work so much, the things she makes have a nice style, I specially like her sketchbooks. Be sure to also look on her website/blog

Fijn weekend iedereen!
